Helpful Hints

Candle Safety.

Watch the burn.

Don’t leave a burning candle unattended. Place your candle in a location that is visible to you at all times. Do not leave your candle burning overnight; extinguish your candle before you go to sleep so that you do not put yourself at risk.

Put in safe location.

A burning candle is capable of lighting objects on fire. Put the candle in a location clear of flammable objects and do not light the candle if anything hangs to close to the wick. Candles also pose a risk to young children and pets; place your candle in a location that is out of reach of young children and pets. Your candle should be placed in a location that is clear of air drafts; this will keep air from blowing sparks (or blowing your candle out). CAUTION: do not place your candle in moving objects, such as a car; you place yourself at risk of burning you or your surroundings.

Watch your hands.

When picking up a burning candle, grab by the bottom of the glass where is it cool; grabbing by the rim of the glass while the candle is burning puts you at risk of burning your hand on on the flame or the hot glass. CAUTION: picking up a burning candle puts you at risk of spilling hot wax on your hands, it would be best to leave candle in place while burning.

Reusable. Recyclable.

FAQs

How do I take care of my candle?

Candle care is an actual thing, and when we say candle care, we mean keeping the wick trimmed. The wick is pre-trimmed when you get the candle so there is no need to trim it. When you relight your candle, we recommend trimming the wick 1/4” before each use to get the best burn.

Can the glass be reused?

It can. Feel free to recycle or repurpose your glass into a household object!

How long can the candle burn?

The 13 oz. candle can burn for 40+ hours. The 8 oz. candle can burn 30+ hours.

How long is it safe to burn a candle?

We recommend burning your candle for no longer than 2 hours at a time.

Can I burn my candle all the way to the bottom?

We recommend leaving a 1/4” to 1/2” of wax at the bottom rather than burning all the way.
